وأوضح الاتحاد المغربي، في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، أنه لا صحة للأنباء المتداولة بشأن الانفصال عن المدرب وليد الركراكي، مؤكداً استمراره في منصبه.
إخفاق قاري
وفشل الركراكي في إعادة المغرب إلى منصة التتويج القارية بعد غياب 50 عاماً، إذ خسر «أسود الأطلس» نهائي بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية أمام منتخب السنغال بهدف نظيف، الشهر الماضي، على ملعب الأمير مولاي عبد الله في الرباط.
تطلعات مونديالية
ويتطلع المنتخب المغربي إلى تجاوز الإخفاق القاري بتحقيق إنجاز جديد في بطولة كأس العالم 2026، المقرر إقامتها في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك، بعدما حصد المركز الرابع في المونديال الماضي، كأفضل إنجاز عربي وأفريقي في تاريخ المسابقة.

Regragui failed to return Morocco to the continental podium after a 50-year absence, as the “Atlas Lions” lost the final of the Africa Cup of Nations to the Senegalese team by a single goal last month at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
