SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Apr, 2026) The police on Thursday arrested 29 alleged criminals from various parts of the district and recovered contraband from them.
The teams of different police stations raided localities of their jurisdiction and arrested the suspects, identified as Aslam, Ghulam Rasool, Munir, Kareem, Abdul Samad, Sohaib, Sohail, Kamran, Mumtaz, Naveed Asghar, Saleem, Mukhtar, Muzzmil, Mumtaz, Nadeem, Shafique, Sharafat, Saqlain, Ahmed, Ehsan, Kamran, Asghar, Talal and others.
Police recovered 3-kg hashish, 2-kg opium, 108-litre local liquor, 23-litre imported liquor, three pistols, four guns, one kalashnikov, three rounds, 70 bullets and valuables worth millions of rupees from the accused.
Further investigation was underway.
