DRX Tekken player Yoon ‘LowHigh’ Sun-woong has won the Tekken World Tour (TWT) 2025 Finals, securing his first title at the circuit-ending event and a $100,000 (~£79,000) prize.
The tournament concluded on February 1st in Malmö, Sweden, bringing together the top-performing players from the 2025 Tekken World Tour season. LowHigh defeated fellow South Korean player Park ‘Mangja’ Geon-ho of Virtus.pro in the Grand Finals, closing out the match with back-to-back 3–0 victories.

LowHigh Run Recap
LowHigh’s path to the title was not straightforward.
After losing 1–3 to Mangja in the winners’ semifinals, the DRX representative dropped into the lower bracket. From there, he mounted a recovery run, winning three consecutive matches to earn a rematch in the finals. The Grand Finals ultimately proved one-sided. Using Bryan, LowHigh swept Mangja’s Law without dropping a set despite a reset.
After securing the title, LowHigh spoke about what the victory meant to him, explaining that winning his first Tekken World Tour Finals validated the decisions he had made throughout his career. He admitted that dropping into the loser’s bracket made him fear his tournament run was coming to an end.
The DRX player also highlighted the role his teammates and staff played during the event, noting that Infe helped him stay prepared between matches, while Knee provided crucial feedback that allowed him to maintain his composure and push through the pressure.
An Exciting Start Of The Year for Tekken Esports
The TWT 2025 Finals highlighted a rivalry between South Korea and Pakistan in competitive Tekken. Korean players such as Mangja, Bae ‘Knee’ Jae-min and Lim ‘Ulsan’ Soo-ho were joined by Pakistani representatives including Atif Butt, Farzeen and Usama Abbasi, several of whom finished inside the top eight.
LowHigh’s victory in Malmö continued a strong run of form in early 2026. In January, he also won the SOOP Tekken League 2025 Season 2 Finals, defeating Knee 3–2. The back-to-back results marked a significant resurgence for the player, who is already an established name in the fighting game community after winning Tekken 7 at Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2018.
With the Tekken World Tour title secured, expectations are high for LowHigh heading into the 2026 competitive season.
