Kalathukal–Kakkolli Sree Vanadurga Devi Temple is a sacred Swayambhoo (self-manifested) shrine situated at Karakulam P.O., Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala. The temple is managed by the Kalathukal–Kakkolli Sree Durga Devi Temple Trust (Reg. No. 162/2005) and holds a prominent place in the spiritual and cultural life of the region.
The temple will celebrate its Prathishta Anniversary along with the Meena Karthika Mahotsavam over three auspicious days on 21st, 22nd, and 23rd March 2026, corresponding to Meenam 7, 8, and 9 (1201 ME). This annual festival is observed with deep devotion and attracts a large number of devotees seeking the blessings of Sree Vanadurga Devi, revered here as the divine protector and remover of obstacles.
The Mahotsavam features special poojas, abhishekams, homams, deeparadhana, and traditional offerings, along with devotional and cultural programs that reflect Kerala’s rich temple heritage. The celebration of Meena Karthika, considered highly auspicious, adds special spiritual significance to the festivities.
Devotees from nearby villages and across Thiruvananthapuram district participate in the rituals and offerings, experiencing spiritual fulfillment and divine grace during these sacred days.
