When a production issue hits, it starts a race to find the data that shows you what went wrong. And in many engineering organizations, the data search takes longer than understanding what the bug is — or coding the fix itself.
This is what I call the “correlation problem”: the information you need to debug an issue exists, but it’s scattered across multiple tools, systems, and log files.
