The Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha in Puttur was held successfully by HJS on 15 February despite strong opposition from the SDPI, which had alleged it was unconstitutional and divisive. HJS stated the programme was conducted lawfully and affirmed that similar meetings would continue as planned, including the upcoming event in Bantwal.
