Presently, eSIM-only iPhones are sold across 12 markets that include the US, Japan, Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Rumours have it that Europe is likely to be among, with the release of the iPhone 18 series. A new report from Techmaniacs states that Cupertino is warming up to include Europe in the list of eSIM-only nations with the release of the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max this fall.

It’s believed that there will be two separate launches of the iPhone 18 series. This involves the Pro models unveiling within the September timeframe.
A new leak reveals that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will feature battery capacity of 5,100 to 5,200mAh as a result of the switch from physical to eSIM cards. It’s likely there will be this delay in the cases of the vanilla iPhone 18 and iPhone Air successor in the early part of next year.
