Honor has just pulled the silk sheet off the MagicPad 4, and there’s a bit of “give and take” going on.
First up, the screen has been put on a slight diet—down to 12.3 inches from the 13.3-inch slab we saw on the MagicPad 3.
But don’t go crying into your cornflakes just yet; they’ve swapped out the old LCD for a gorgeous 165Hz OLED panel. It’s smoother, punchier, and frankly, a trade-off we’d take any day of the week.
Because the chassis is thinner and lighter (it’s dropped a massive 145g), the battery has shrunk slightly too, down to 10,100mAh.

Honor hasn’t given us the official “how long will it last” figures, but with OLED being more efficient, it might actually outlive its predecessor.
Under the hood, it’s packing some serious heat with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. You can spec it with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and it’s running MagicOS 10 (that’s Android 16 for those keeping track at home).
We’ve got one!
The best part? We actually have a MagicPad 4 in for a full review right now.
We’ll be putting that 165Hz screen through its paces and seeing if the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 really is the “blistering speed” king Honor claims it to be.
The Highlights:
Cameras: A basic 13MP on the back and 9MP for your Zoom calls. Nothing to write home about there.
The Sound: This is where it gets interesting. It’s got eight speakers pumping out spatial audio. If your life goal is to be “that person” on the plane forcing your Netflix choice on everyone in rows 10 through 15, this is the tablet for you.
The “One More Thing”: Honor is keeping quiet on the price until their MWC presser this Sunday, where they’ve also teased… wait for it… humanoid robotics.
So, a fancy new tablet and a robot butler? We’ll be watching. Keep an eye out for our full review coming very soon!
