تفوق فريق الأخدود على مضيفه النجمة بثلاثة أهداف لهدف، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية ببريدة، وذلك ضمن لقاءات الجولة 24 لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء سيطرة مبكرة لفريق الأخدود بحثاً عن التقدم بالنتيجة مبكراً وتمكن من ذلك بعد تسديدة قوية من عبدالعزيز آل هتيلة ليحولها زميله صالح آل عباس بقدمه لداخل شباك النجمة كهدف أول للأخدود (د: 14)، وقبل نهاية الشوط الأول تمكن النجمة من العودة عن طريق لاعبه لازارو (د: 39)، ولكن الأخدود عاد للسيطرة في الشوط الثاني وأحرز هدفين عن طريق كريتسيان باسوغوغ من ركلة جزاء (د: 64)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع أضاف توكماك نجوين الهدف الثالث للأخدود (د: 90+2)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الأخدود بثلاثة أهداف لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الأخدود فوزه الثالث في الدوري ويصل للنقطة 13 وفي المركز الـ17 وبفارق 3 نقاط فقط عن صاحبي المركز 15 و16 الرياض وضمك على التوالي، فيما تلقى النجمة الخسارة الـ18 وتجمد رصيده عند 8 نقاط وفي المركز الـ18 والأخير.
The Al-Akhudud team triumphed over their host, Al-Najma, with a score of three goals to one, in the match held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraidah, as part of the 24th round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
The match witnessed an early dominance by Al-Akhudud as they sought to take the lead quickly, and they succeeded after a powerful shot from Abdulaziz Al-Hatila, which was converted by his teammate Saleh Al-Abbas with his foot into the net of Al-Najma for the first goal of Al-Akhudud (14th minute). Before the end of the first half, Al-Najma managed to equalize through their player Lazaro (39th minute), but Al-Akhudud regained control in the second half and scored two goals through Christian Bassogog from a penalty (64th minute). In stoppage time, Toukmak Nguyen added the third goal for Al-Akhudud (90+2 minutes), ending the match with a victory for Al-Akhudud by three goals to one.
With this result, Al-Akhudud achieves their third victory in the league, reaching 13 points and sitting in 17th place, just 3 points behind the teams in 15th and 16th places, Riyadh and Damak respectively, while Al-Najma suffered their 18th loss, remaining at 8 points in 18th and last place.
