PUBG Mobile brings back Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration

PUBG Mobile developer KRAFTON has announced the return of its partnership with hit anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.

Returning on March 13th alongside the release of Version 4.3, the new update will feature new content and experience based on the anime.

This marks the second time PUBG Mobile has collaborated with Jujutsu Kaisen, following the successful launch back in 2022. On that occasion, KRAFTON featured the series’ main characters, such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo in the game, making them available through Cosplay sets.

While KRAFTON didn’t unveil how Jujutsu Kaisen will be integrated into the game, PUBG Mobile’s latest update will come with several new features, including a brand-new spawn island with new effects and facilities, as well as new weapons and combat tools.

Moreover, the game will add a new gameplay mode, the Temporal Vault, which will allow players to go back into different eras of PUBG Mobile’s history and experience classic maps and previous mechanics.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.

Over the past years, the mobile Battle Royale game has been exploring more and more bold crossovers to unite its community. This includes tapping into music, anime, traditional sports, and even viral internet phenomena.

In 2025, PUBG Mobile brought online animated series Skibidi Toilet into the game, and has partnered with carmaker Lotus and K-pop group idol BABYMONSTER. Earlier in January, the game also signed a deal with Turkish sports organisation Galatasaray to expand its commercial footprint.

Last month, KRAFTON announced various updates to its competitive scene, with the Global Open (PMGO) S1 taking place in Indonesia and the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026 taking place in Turkey later this season, featuring a total of 38 teams.
