Earlier in the year, Samsung launched a new software update for the Galaxy Fit 3 in South Korea, the device’s home country. As it is now, the update is rolling out internationally. It seems to have unveiled in several regions globally. These areas include: Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America as well as North America.

The new update for the Galaxy Fit 3 features firmware version R390XXU0AZA3 and has a download size of 17.42MB. The official changelog reveals it’s likely to enhance device performance. Though, regarding this, Samsung didn’t clarify the aspects of performance to be improved after installing the update. It also mentions improvements to device reliability and stability.
For users of Galaxy Fit 3, they can check for the update by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on the connected phone and navigating to Band settings > Band software update, then tapping Download and install. Tap install now, once the update is downloaded. Your device, the Galaxy Fit 3, is required to have at least 50% battery charge to be able to initiate the update process.
The Galaxy Fit 3 was released in 2024. Since then, Samsung has launched some software updates for the wearable yearly. Nevertheless, it has introduced new features for the Fit 3 just once so far. Towards the end of that year, 2024, the device received a new Tile. It was an option to display music lists, and a low battery vibration alert. The new software update is to enhance device performance and reliability.
