Wardogs promises a different flavor of large-scale multiplayer first-person shooter, pitting 100 players split across three teams against each other in combined arms warfare. Since there’s no shortage of threats across its sprawling map, knowing the weapons list you can pick from lets you prepare for any combat scenario.
Although publisher Team17 and developer Bulkhead have yet to unveil the full Wardogs weapons list, we did get a few glimpses at some of the firearms and tools that enable us to help our team secure victory.
Wardogs Weapons List
As spotted across the trailers shared so far and a YouTube short that showcased Wardogs’ inspect weapon feature, the available arsenal allows us to tap into a variety of different playstyles, engaging enemies at close, medium, and long range.
Although the official in-game names of these weapons may change until launch, we have so far seen a couple of assault rifles – including one resembling an M4 –, submachine guns – such as one that looks like a KRISS Vector –, light machine guns, sniper rifles, a drill, hammer, and more.
Variety seems to be the name of the game here, but do keep in mind that the list below is not exhaustive and based on the pre-release material shared so far.
Wardogs Weapons List
- Assault rifles (resembling the M4, KH-2002, Galil, AK74, FAL)
- Submachine guns (resembling the MP5, KRISS Vector, and MP7)
- Light machine guns (resembling the PKM)
- Marksman rifles
- Sniper rifles (resembling the M24)
- Shotguns
- Rocket launchers (resembling the RPG-7, MAAWS, 9K333 Verba)
- Bows
- Drill
- Hammer
There is a chance that, rather than serve as proper weapons, the drill and hammer are utility items that let us leave our mark on the battlefield in different ways.
More additions to the list of weapons available in Wardogs will likely be revealed as we get closer to its early access launch. While we wait, drop by our article covering the chances of seeing the multiplayer first-person shooter arriving on consoles.
