PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Apr, 2026) A powerful earthquake having 6.3 magnitude on Richter Scale jolted parts of northern Khyber Pakthunkhwa on Friday night.
According to Pakistan Metrological Station, the depth of the earthquake was 190 kilometers in the Hindukash region in Afghanistan.
The quake was felt in Chitral, Peshawar, Swat, Nowshera, Shangla, Dir, Khyber and other northern districts of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
The PDMA directed the district administration to provide quick assistance to people in case of emergency. No report of casulty was reported so far from any part of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
