FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Apr, 2026) Director General (DG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhary has directed for strict legal action against defaulters and said that the properties of those who fail to pay commercialization fees and other outstanding amounts despite repeated notices should be sealed immediately.
He ordered Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind to conduct daily monitoring of progress regarding revenue recovery and to initiate disciplinary action against staff showing negligence in achieving revenue targets.
In this regard, Additional Director General Qaiser Abbas Rind convened a special meeting to review the pace of recovery of outstanding dues under different heads.
Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, Director Town Planning-I Afnan Saeed Sandhu, Deputy Directors Adnan Shahzad, Afzal Ansari, Abdullah Noor, Mohsin Bashir, Bilal Ahmad, Assistant Director Recovery Mian Akhtar, and other officers attended the meeting.
The ADG issued warnings to the concerned staff over poor performance in achieving revenue recovery targets and emphasized that no negligence or laxity in recovering dues would be tolerated.
He further directed that recovery of outstanding commercialization fees should be ensured on a priority basis and that illegal commercialization should be identified, with legal action taken against violators.
He also instructed the recovery of fines imposed on illegal developments in private housing schemes and stressed ensuring complete transparency in financial records of income and expenditures within the finance department.
He directed that final notices be issued to defaulter allottees of FDA City for payment of dues and warned that in case of non-compliance, departmental action should be taken to cancel their plots.
The ADG also reviewed the performance of the One Window Counter and the e-Biz Punjab portal, directing that no application should remain pending without justification.
