PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Apr, 2026) Kohat police here Saturday conducted a grand search and strike operation in the remote mountainous area of Tor Chappar, Darra Adam Khel targeting terrorists, their facilitators and other criminal elements.
During the operation, security personnel conducted extensive search of various locations and established checkpoints along key routes to ensure strict monitoring. The action was taken in view of possible terrorist presence in the rugged terrain.
Authorities emphasized that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorism and restore peace in the region.
The police reiterated their commitment to continue such actions until all threats are neutralized and the safety of citizens is ensured.
Senior officers including SP CTD Sadat Khan, SP Saddar Ihsan Shah, DSP Darra Haider Zaman, and SHO Darra Asif Hayat led the operation with active participation from the Elite Force, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), District Security Branch (DSB) and district police contingents.
