Fellow Influencer Describes Rushing Clavicular to Hospital

Influencer Speaks Out After Clavicular Hospitalization

Influencer Androgenic is recalling the moment he took fellow content creator Clavicular to the hospital.

“I hadn’t seen him in this state before and he went from speaking to being fairly unresponsive in mere seconds,” Androgenic wrote via X on Tuesday, April 14. “Within a minute we all realized the situation, turned the stream off, picked him up and rushed him to the hospital.”

The post continued, “I haven’t received an update but that’s likely a good thing — and the acute respiratory depression window should already be over with. And you guys should realize that stimulants can attenuate respiratory depression in some cases, but I didn’t push for it once I realised he was unresponsive.”

Us Weekly confirmed on Tuesday that Clavicular, real name Braden Peters, had “suffered a suspected overdose” during a livestream and had “since been hospitalized.”

Braden Peters, the 20-year-old influencer known online as Clavicular, went viral when he abruptly ended a sit-down with 60 Minutes Australia correspondent Adam Hegarty two days before being hospitalized for a suspected overdose. The interview, which aired on April 12, was centered on the “looksmaxxing” community — an online movement of young men pursuing extreme […]

Fans have since shared video clips from the incident, with Clavicular, 20, streaming alongside a group of friends when one asked, “How f***ed up are you?” Clavicular replied that he was “shot.”

The video continued as one of Clavicular’s friends gave him a glass of water. Another clip seemingly showed Clavicular slipping out of consciousness, with his head starting to rest on another friend’s shoulder. The livestream cut out shortly afterward.

One day after news broke of his hospitalization, Clavicular gave his fans an update on X. He also shared a selfie, where blood could be seen on his face.

“Just got home, that was brutal,” he shared on Wednesday, April 15. “All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn’t a real solution.”

He continued, “The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.”

Clavicular rose to fame as part of the looksmaxxing community, a group of online men
who “obsess over physical self-improvement in the hope that it’ll improve their dating odds,” per a GQ story published earlier this year.

He gained traction on the internet for allegedly tapping his face with a hammer in an effort to get chiseled cheekbones and previously claimed that he took crystal meth to curb his appetite and injected himself with mail-order testosterone.

Days prior to his hospitalization, Clavicular made headlines when he walked out of a 60 Minutes interview after being asked about his relationship to fellow influencer Andrew Tate.

“I see you want to make this political,” he said. “I could teach you about looksmaxxing, and then maybe you could switch that up. Thanks for the time, appreciate the interview.”
