According to rumours, Apple plans to call its first foldable smartphone the iPhone Ultra. Even the latest rumour confirms it. But is this Apple’s only upcoming Ultra-branded device?
The foldable will be referred to as iPhone Ultra, instead of iPhone 18 Ultra or iPhone Fold. This will tally with Apple’s pattern of naming its smartphone, as in, the iPhone Air, instead of the iPhone 17 Air. This, of course, will enable Apple come up with new iPhone Ultra generations on a different schedule.

Furthermore, it’s believed that Apple is working very hard on managing to ship the Ultra at the same time with the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. But it seems the foldable will still be launched some weeks later. Either way, the three will be released at the same event in September.
It’s interesting to know that the iPhone Ultra will be merged by the MacBook Ultra, which will sport an OLED touchscreen. This will be the first MacBook with a touchscreen. It will also be the first MacBook with an OLED display panel. This device will allegedly cost more than the MacBook Pro.

Rumours have it that the MacBook Ultra will unveil in the first half of next year. Previously, it was scheduled to arrive later in the year. This delay is as a result of the RAM supply issues. The laptop is believed to feature new feature set, compared to Apple’s existing models.
Additionally, there’s the possibility that the foldable iPad Ultra will become the next Apple Ultra-branded device, as it has been a priority for Apple’s next CEO, John Ternus. This will definitely be a very expensive iPad.
