Cult Classic RTS R.U.S.E. Returns on Digital Platforms

ruse relaunch

Eugen Systems has unearthed cult classic WWII RTS game R.U.S.E. and is bringing it back to digital storefronts after years of absence.

The spiritual predecessor to the developer’s Wargame, Steel Division, and WARNO series, R.U.S.E. will relaunch on Steam with all previously released DLC included for free.

All a R.U.S.E.

The relaunch of R.U.S.E. isn’t just the old version, either, as it comes with some modern tweaks to help it run on modern systems. It’ll even work smoothly on Steam Deck.

Fret not if you still have your digital copy from before its original purge. That’s still yours to keep, and you get the new technical updates and free DLC to boot. A fine deal.

But you might be asking, What even is R.U.S.E. exactly? And the answer is that it’s a WWII RTS game where bluffing plays a major part in your nation’s chances of victory. Each battle is one of wits and perceptions, where the use of RUSE cards can deceive your enemies, camouflage your troops, deploy decoys, or spy on your opponents.

You can buy R.U.S.E. Definitive Edition on Steam now for £26.49.
