The stable version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16) for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra is now available. The company is rolling out the update in South Korea. The update comes with the build number CZDP. It’s expected that before long, the release will reach other countries.
It’s worthy to note that when Samsung opens a beta Programme for a new version of One UI, it releases about four or five beta builds within two to three months. This process takes place before it starts rolling out the stable version. But the case is different with the One UI 8.5 beta Programme for the Galaxy S25 series.
Moreso, the One UI 8.5 beta Programme for the Galaxy S25 lineup was opened in December last year. It released ten beta builds within the space of five months before finally releasing the stable version.
However, the One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 QPR2. It offers a wide range of changes, like a redesigned user interface that looks cleaner and more refined while also offering more customization options. Flagship devices like the Galaxy S25 also receive new AI features, as in: Call Screening, an enhanced Audio Eraser that works in real-time, as well as Creative Studio.
