Ranchi, Jharkhand – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has described the harassment of Hindu women employees at a company in Nashik as part of ‘corporate jihad’, rather than an isolated incident.

A delegation from the Samiti met the Governor of Jharkhand, Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar, and submitted a memorandum on the issue. Taking note of the seriousness of the matter, the Governor assured that he would raise it with the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.

Shri. Shambhu Gaware, North-East India Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, informed the Governor that the Nashik incident has exposed a concerning pattern within the corporate sector. He stated that there were organised attempts to pressure Hindu women into religious conversion and undermine their beliefs. He expressed concern that similar activities could exist in IT companies in cities such as Ranchi and elsewhere, potentially affecting the safety of working women.

During the meeting, the Governor stated that he would forward details of the matter to the Prime Minister’s Office and to the Chief Minister.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has demanded that the case be investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and that a ‘special security audit’ be implemented in multinational companies across the country.

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti further stated that companies failing to prevent such alleged activities should face cancellation of their licences.
