HJS delegation meets Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar; demands ‘special security audit’ in IT companies nationwide

Ranchi, Jharkhand – The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has described the harassment and exploitation of Hindu women employees at a company in Nashik not as an isolated incident, but a part of ‘corporate jihad’.
A delegation from the Samiti recently met with the Honourable Governor of Jharkhand, Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar, to address this serious matter. Recognising the gravity of the issue, the Governor assured the delegation that he would discuss the situation with both the Prime Minister and the Jharkhand Chief Minister.

Shri. Shambhu Gaware, North-East India Coordinator of the HJS, informed the Governor that the Nashik incident has exposed a dangerous pattern within the corporate sector. He stated that there were organised attempts to pressure Hindu women into religious conversion and undermine their religious beliefs. HJS believes that similar ‘sleeper cells’ may be active in IT companies across Ranchi and other parts of the country, posing a direct threat to the safety of working women.
In response, the Governor stated that he would forward the details of the matter to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Chief Minister’s Office the same day.
The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has strongly demanded that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, and that a ‘special security audit’ be implemented for multinational companies nationwide. Furthermore, the Samiti has called for the immediate cancellation of operational licenses for any companies that fail to prevent such activities.
