The Hunting Wives is an undeniable smash hit for Netflix, thanks in no small part to an iconic cast that includes Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Katie Lowes and Chrissy Metz. Last night Snow walked the Emmys red carpet (and presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie with Akerman) with a soft blowout and wearing a glittering pink gown, but it was the 39-year-old’s smooth and sculpted skin that lit up the whole look.
It only took four products to prep Snow’s Emmy Awards skin, all from our favorite unfussy skin-care brand, Dermalogica. Celebrity makeup artist Shelby Smith explains, “As a makeup artist, I’m always looking for products that don’t just create a beautiful finish in the moment but also support the skin underneath. Dermalogica’s science-backed formulas prioritize skin health first, which means every product I use works double-duty, delivering results that elevate my artistry while ensuring the skin stays strong, balanced and radiant long after makeup comes off.”
“Skin prep is everything. The secret to a flawless finish isn’t heavy foundation—it’s skin that glows from within,” Smith continues. To get Snow’s pitch perfect (pun intended) Emmys skin Smith used Dermalogica’s Precleanse ($49), Special Cleansing Gel ($48), Daily Microfoliant ($69) and the just-launched NeuroTouch Symmetry Serum ($138), a product she calls her “new favorite skin prep step” because “it lifts, sculpts and harmonizes the complexion so makeup works with the skin instead of fighting it.”
