There are two types of people: Those who will tell you they are making money with something and encourage you to try it so you can be successful too, and those who believe that if you start working on the same platform as them, they will stop making money, so they discourage you from doing anything.
Throughout my five years in investing and creating online content, I have encountered hundreds of people on both sides: those who genuinely want to help and those who don’t. And here’s a message for all those who say “it’s too late to join a platform or start investing”: You have never been more wrong.
I’ve never been “early” on any platform.
When I started writing on Medium in 2020, there were already people who had been writing there for two years. There were people with 50,000 followers, and some were already consistently earning four figures.
However, I had never written anything in English before, I had no audience, no connections, and absolutely no guidance on where to begin.
