The annual Meena Thiruvathira Mahotsavam 2026 of Aickarakonam Poongode Sree Mahadeva Temple will be celebrated from March 26 to April 2, 2026 (Malayalam year 1201 Meenam 12 to 19). This festival is one of the important cultural and spiritual celebrations of the region and is conducted with great devotion and unity.
Festival Kodiyettu
The festival will begin on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with the Kodiyettu ceremony. The flag hoisting will take place between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM in the auspicious muhurtham under the chief priest Thantri Brahmasree Thazhamon Madam Kandhararu Brahmadathan.
The Kodiyettu marks the beginning of the eight-day festival celebrations.
