The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the continued and systematic attacks carried out by Iran against several Arab states, describing them as a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter. The parliament warned that such actions pose a direct threat to regional security and stability.

In a statement issued on Friday, the president of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yammahi, said that the use of missiles and drones in these attacks reflects a persistent hostile approach that disregards national sovereignty and endangers civilian lives. He stressed that the ongoing escalation demonstrates a lack of respect for fundamental international norms.

Al Yammahi further highlighted that the targeting of critical infrastructure and the resulting civilian casualties reveal what he described as a clear intent to spread chaos and destabilise the region.

He noted that such actions undermine efforts to maintain peace and security while exacerbating tensions across affected areas.

The Arab Parliament held the Iranian regime fully responsible for the attacks and their serious consequences, calling on the international community to fulfil its legal, political, and moral obligations.

It urged decisive and immediate action to halt these violations and curb what it described as Iran’s aggressive policies, which threaten both regional and global stability.

The statement also reaffirmed the Arab Parliament’s full support for all legitimate measures taken by the affected Arab countries to safeguard their security, maintain stability, and defend their sovereignty and territorial integrity, in line with international law and the recognised right to self-defence.
