Beyoncé’s Cécred and the BeyGood Foundation have renewed their commitment to the beauty industry, kicking off the second year of the Cécred x BeyGood Fund to support professionals at its heart.

This year’s fund channels a $500,000 investment into empowering beauty professionals through salon business grants and scholarships for cosmetology students nationwide.

Additionally, the expanded fund will distribute $370,000 in grants to 37 salon and barbershop owners nationwide, awarding each recipient $10,000. In addition to funding, they will gain access to business development tools, mentorship, and resources through a collaboration with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). Furthermore, the top 40% of non-selected finalists will receive extended support, including group coaching and resources for certification as a Minority Business Enterprise.

Cosmetology students at five institutions will receive scholarships totalling $130,000, with funding allocated to Detroit Extravagant Academy in Michigan, Cosmetology Institute of Las Vegas, Universal College of Beauty in Los Angeles, Civella Beauty Academy in North Carolina, and Bennett Career Institute in Washington, D.C.

“Since its debut more than a year ago, Cécred’s collaboration with BeyGood has recognised the invaluable influence and expertise of professional stylists,” said Tina Knowles, vice chairwoman of Cécred and chair of the BeyGood Foundation board of directors.

“Having spent years as a stylist and salon owner, I understand firsthand the impact of an empowered stylist and the value of an inclusive learning environment. The Cécred x BeyGood Fund is dedicated to strengthening the professional hair industry, expanding the salon community, and equipping students and salon owners with the tools to drive it forward.”

The relaunch of the fund aligns with the official debut of Cécred’s Pro Program, designed to provide education, product support, and networking opportunities for stylists seeking to enhance their craft.

“Stylists are the backbone of the hair care industry and key figures in their communities, respected experts, artists, and entrepreneurs,” said Grace Ray, CEO of Cécred.

“Cécred’s commitment has always centred on empowering this vital community. By providing education, access, and strong industry connections, we help professional and aspiring stylists build successful businesses, enhance their skills, and pursue their passion.”

As the Cécred x BeyGood Fund enters its second year, its mission remains stronger than ever, uplifting stylists, empowering salon owners, and investing in the future of the beauty industry. Through grants, scholarships, mentorship, and educational resources, the fund continues to create opportunities that help professionals refine their craft, build thriving businesses, and drive the industry forward.

With the introduction of Cécred’s Pro Program, stylists gain even more tools to elevate their practice, connect with industry leaders, and access the support they need to flourish. As Cécred and BeyGood deepen their commitment to fostering growth and inclusivity, this initiative is not just about funding—it’s about equipping the next generation of beauty professionals with the skills and resources to shape the industry’s future.
