The grahan begins on September 7 night as per Hindu calendar and ends early hours of September 8. According to NASA, the Chandra Grahan is a Total lunar eclipse and is visible along Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. The Purna Chandra Grahan will be taking place in India time between 9:57 PM on September 7 to 1:26 AM on September 8. This eclipse takes place in Shatabhisha (Chathayam or Sadayam) and Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra (Pooruruttathi) and in Kumbha Rashi.
