Set in a village high in the mountains, Delphinium follows protagonist Haiyan, who returns home after her brother’s execution. Grieving and directionless, she must rebuild her life, rekindling connections with villagers while embracing a slower pace of living in her home village.

Delphinium has yet to been given a fixed release date, but publisher Serenity Forge has confirmed that the title is currently slated for a 2027 release window.

Delphinium Gameplay
Delphinium is described as “a narrative-driven experience with farming elements.” While it does have enough in common with popular titles such as Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley, it may end up veering away from the formula we’re used to.
Its pixelated art style and 3D environments suggest as much, although we will still tend to plenty of crops, fish in nearby mountain streams, prepare meals, and “help restore a quiet village of outcasts, each carrying their own past.”
In addition, we’ll also get to craft furniture and engage in a series of minigames for activities like cleaning as well as others.
As Haiyan restarts her life in the village, she forms relationships with the locals, uncovering “hidden connections […], new conversations, conflicts, and choices that shape the story.” It’s up to us to decide whether she settles there for good or leaves once again to find herself by seeking independence.

Delphinium’s price wasn’t revealed when the title was originally announced, which isn’t necessarily unusual. As far as platforms go, we know that it is slated to release on both PC and Xbox.
