According to a release, the one-day event will see competitive gaming and real football collide as fans over 16 years old will have the opportunity to take part in four EA FC open tournaments in the ePremier League Tournament Zone with the chance to win Premier League and EA SPORTS merchandise.

The event will also offer live music, exhibition booths, and the Summer Series Superstars Head-to-Head, which will see Atlanta’s top influencers compete in EA FC 25 with some Premier League players, representing the four Premier League Summer Series teams (AFC Bournemouth, Everton, Manchester United and West Ham United). Guest appearances are yet to be unveiled.

The ePremier League Fan Festival is part of the Premier League’s strategy to expand its presence in the United States by connecting with the younger generations through gaming.

ePremier League in 2025

The 2024/25 season of the ePremier League saw Manchester City win the league once again after an impressive campaign in the previous year. The returning duo of Donovan “Tekkz” Hunt and Matías “Bonanno” Bonanno managed to clinch the title with a 6–5 aggregate victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, adding a third trophy to their growing legacy.

Having won the domestic league, both players will be heading to the FC Pro 25 World Championship, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during Week 5 of the Esports World Cup. The winner will not only earn 1,000 Club Points for the represented team, but also take home $250,000 (~£189,295) from the combined $1m (~£746,250).
