The sacred Bhagavatha Sapthaham Yajnam at Evoor Kannampallil Devi Temple will be conducted from April 10 to April 16, 2026 (Malayalam year 1201 Meenam 27 to Medam 03). This spiritual event is one of the important annual rituals of the temple and is performed with great devotion.
During the Sapthaham days, special poojas, prayers, and recitations will be held in the Yajna hall along with annadanam for devotees.
Bhagavatha Sapthaham Yajnam
Bhagavatha Sapthaham is a seven-day spiritual ritual where the Srimad Bhagavatam is recited with devotion. The ceremony is believed to bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth to devotees and their families.
Daily poojas, namajapam, and yajna rituals will be performed during the Sapthaham. Devotees can also offer vazhipadu, annadanam, and pooja sponsorship during these days.
Aswathi Mahotsavam and Pongala 2026
The Aswathi Mahotsavam will be celebrated on April 18, 2026 (Medam 05). On this day, Pongala and special temple rituals will be conducted with the participation of devotees.
Women devotees take part in Pongala with great devotion, praying for prosperity, health, and happiness.
