Gothic remake, Darksiders 4, and more: There was a lot going on at the THQ Showcase! Here are all the trailers.

THQ Showcase


That was more than expected. At the THQ Showcase shortly before gamescom, many games were unveiled and new information about well-known titles was revealed.

At the big THQ Nordic showcase on August 1, the publisher pulled out all the stops and debuted a whole series of trailers to bring you up to speed on the latest developments. In addition to new information on well-known releases such as the Gothic remake and Titan Quest 2, there were also some completely new games to see!

We were able to take a look at most of the announcements in advance and have even prepared some longer articles for you. Titan Quest 2

  • Genre: Action role-playing game
  • Developer: Grimlore Games
  • Release: August 1, 2025 (Early Access)
  • Most important new information: Surprise! After numerous delays, the action role-playing game set in ancient times has been released out of nowhere in Early Access.

The Guild: Europe 1410

  • Genre: Economic simulation
  • Developer: Ashborne Games
  • Release: 2026
  • Most important new information: The new installment in the medieval series has just been announced. 

Gothic Remake

  • Genre: Role-playing game
  • Developer: Alkimia Interactive
  • Release: Early 2026
  • Most important new information: Unfortunately, we have some bad news: the remake will not be released this year. However, we have seen some new gameplay and written about it.

Fatekeeper

  • Genre: Action role-playing game
  • Developer:
  • Release: Unknown
  • Most important new information: A new, linear action role-playing game with truly brutal first-person combat. Dark Messiah sends its regards. More details are available here.

Darksiders 4

  • Genre: Action-Adventure
  • Developer: Gunfire Games
  • Release: Unknown
  • Most important new information: The rumors were true! Darksiders 4 finally continues the popular series about the horsemen of the apocalypse!

Sacred 2 Remaster

  • Genre: Action role-playing game
  • Developer: Sparklingbit
  • Release: Unknown
  • Most important new information: A remaster of the highly acclaimed Diablo competitor from Germany has been unveiled.

The Eternal Life of Goldman

  • Genre: Jump&Run
  • Developer: Weappy Studio
  • Release: Unknown
  • Most important new information: No new information, but another very impressive trailer for this stylish side-scroller.

Reanimal

  • Genre: Action-Adventure
  • Developer: Tarsier Studios
  • Release: Q1 2026
  • Most important new information: The release date for the creepy co-op adventure from the makers of Little Nightmares has been narrowed down further.

Wreckfest 2

  • Genre: Racing
  • Developer: Bugbear
  • Release: March 20, 2025 (Early Access)
  • Most important new information: No new information, but the trailer invites you to join the Early Access program, which has already started.

Tides of Tomorrow

  • Genre: Action-Adventure
  • Developer: Digixart
  • Release: February 24
  • Most important new information: Hardly any new information, but the concept behind this unusual story game is explained in more detail and a new part of the world is shown.

Spongebob Schwammkopf: Titans of the Tide

  • Genre: Jump&Run
  • Developer: Purple Lamp
  • Release: November 18, 2025
  • Most important new information: The trailer shows in detail for the first time what the new SpongeBob game is all about and announces the release date.

Wreckreation

  • Genre: Racing
  • Developer: Three Fields Entertainment
  • Release: Unknown
  • Most important new information: A new trailer once again introduces the new racing game Wreckreation, in which you build tracks like in Trackmania and then crash your cars like in Burnout.

The THQ Show was just a first taste of what else you can expect in August. Gamescom is just around the corner, and with it come lots of new announcements and previews of upcoming games. We’ll be there at the forefront, of course, and will keep you up to date!
