Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have been more or less traumatized by the multiple delay announcements over the years, and despite recent confirmation that GTA 6 is still on track to launch in November, players are reluctant to go all in just yet.
After Rockstar parent company Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick recently confirmed that GTA 6 is still on track to launch on November 19, 2026, players on Reddit are taking what he says with a grain of salt. Based on Zelnick’s prior conviction that GTA 6 would release on time, only to be delayed again, fans are skeptical over November’s launch and fearful that another delay is still possible.
GTA 6 Fans Are Still Concerned About The Release Date

GTA 6 fans have been burned too many times now to blindly accept Take-Two’s claims that the game is definitely on track to launch on November 19, 2026. That said, Zelnick remains confident that there will not be any further delays to the release date, and has even promised that marketing for the game will begin outright this summer.
However, players can’t help but remain skeptical considering Zelnick’s previous commentary on GTA 6‘s release. Just a few months before the last delay was announced, Zelnick made similar comments expressing his assurance that GTA 6 would definitely be ready to launch in May of this year. The Take-Two CEO has over-promised on GTA 6‘s release date multiple times now, and until the game is made available for pre-order and marketing kicks off officially, there’s going to be lingering fear that a third delay is still on the table.
