Honor Magic V6 Coming at MWC 2026
This Red variant stands out immediately thanks to its textured rear panel that feels almost like suede when you run a finger across it. It’s tactile, premium, and different from the usual glossy or matte foldable backs.
The color itself is deep and punchy when viewed straight on. But tilt the phone toward a light, and the surface starts to shift. The fibers in the texture subtly change contrast, and the rich red can even fade toward a softer grey tone depending on the angle and lighting.

A New Color For a Familiar Design
In terms of shape and feel, the device stays close to the previous generation. That’s actually a good thing. The size and weight feel familiar, and considering the earlier model was already among the thinnest and lightest foldables around, the refined continuity works in its favor rather than against it.
Where the Magic V6 really pushes things forward is durability.
This foldable is setting a new benchmark for rugged engineering in its category:
- IP68 & IP69 ratings — currently the only foldable aiming to offer both dust and high-pressure water resistance
- 2800MPa HONOR Super Steel Hinge — built with ultra-strong commercial-grade steel for higher structural rigidity and long-term reliability
- Advanced display protection — reinforced inner screen with UTG glass, low-reflectivity coatings, high wear resistance, and an ultra-low 1.5% reflection rate for better clarity and impact resilience

With the unveiling of this bold Red edition, the message is clear: toughness doesn’t have to look bulky. The Honor Magic V6 blends high-end durability with a design that feels expressive. It’s a nice departure from previous generations and certainly adds a bit of taste to the new V6 series. The launch is near, and we expect more colors to emerge.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the durability challenge video and the full reveal soon. Obviously, we will be covering every new launch at the MWC 2026.
