Yes, you don’t need to consume meat in Starsand Island thanks to many recipes that don’t require any of it. However, some missions and requests will task you with finding meat and meat bites.
Meat types in Starsand Island
At the time of writing, there are four different meat types in Starsand Island, each with its own price tag when you buy pieces at the General Store.
- Pork – 40 Coins
- Mutton – 51 Coins
- Fowl – 40 Coins
- Beef – 60 Coins
How to get meat and meat bites in Starsand Island
The good news is you needn’t hurt any animals to obtain meat or meat bites in Starsand Island. You just need to buy them from the right vendor.
At the moment, meat is obtained from Zerine’s General Store via the Ingredients section. This may change in the future, but that’s the current way to easily obtain it. You can also get it from treasure chests as quest rewards or as gifts from NPCs.
To obtain meat bites, you only need to place pieces of meat (any type) into a separator. This machine will then process them in seconds. The separator can be crafted after getting its blueprint as part of the handy Equipment Blueprint Pack at Zerine’s store… as long as you have the materials the blueprint needs.
