Imams of Kaaba Donate Blood In Annual Blood Donation Campaign

Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, Head of the Two Holy Mosques, and Sheikh Saud Al-Baleelah joined Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s annual blood donation campaign.

The initiative promotes voluntary blood donation across the Kingdom, saw widespread involvement from religious, civic, and public figures.

To strengthen national blood bank reserves and raise awareness about the importance of donation, a cause both imams emphasised as deeply rooted in Islamic principles of saving lives and serving communities.

Their public participation took place at a specially organised blood drive at the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Medical Centre in Riyadh, where they were among the first to donate.

The Crown Prince’s campaign is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.

It features mobile donation units deployed across major cities and is part of the broader national transformation goals under Vision 2030 to enhance public health infrastructure and community engagement.
