With Eid 2026 around the corner, the countdown for Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has shifted into overdrive. After overseas advance sales opened earlier this week, the focus is now firmly on the domestic market, where national chains are preparing for what is expected to be one of the season’s biggest rushes.
The big swing is not just about when tickets go live, but also how cinemas plan to price the demand.
Advance Bookings Go Live After The Trailer Drop
Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge will open advance bookings in India on March 7 across national chains and key multiplexes. As per the plan, ticketing will go live immediately after the theatrical trailer launches on March 7.

The booking rollout will begin on a provisional censor certificate, while the final certification process is completed. With the film positioned as a large-scale holiday tentpole, the strategy suggests the makers and exhibitors are aiming to convert peak buzz into immediate pre-sales momentum.
Super Blockbuster Plus Pricing Introduced In National Chains
Anticipating heavy demand, Jio Studios and national chains are introducing a higher ticketing slab labelled “Super Blockbuster Plus”. Typically, major releases are slotted into “Super Blockbuster” or “Blockbuster” pricing, which is around 10 to 25 percent higher than normal ticket rates.
The move is also being framed around the film’s long runtime, which is said to be close to four hours. For exhibitors, a longer runtime can mean fewer daily shows, making premium pricing a way to protect revenue while demand remains high during the holiday window.
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is also mounting a wider reach than its predecessor, with plans to release in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
