This summer is going to be super fantastic at the movies as multiple big-budget features make their way to the screen. Along with the promise of hope with James Gunn’s Superman, the MCU is bringing their first family with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and then there is Jurassic World Rebirth that will bring the most dangerous dinosaurs to life. While the box office battle is yet to begin, the battle for best popcorn buckets has already started.
Jurassic World Rebirth has unveiled its “scariest popcorn bucket,” with star Jonathan Bailey unveiling a bucket shaped like the iconic dinosaur head. It’s a really fun video as Bailey struggles with his lines. Fans are truly spoiled for choice, after Krypto emerged as the star of Superman collectibles, and Fantastic Four lets you devour popcorn in Galactus’ head-shaped buckets.
What To Expect From ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’
Jurassic World Rebirth is helmed by Gareth Edwards, known for features like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and 2014’s Godzilla, ensuring fans will get thrilling action as well as an emotional core. While plot details are kept tightly under wraps, the film’s screenwriter, David Koepp, has promised that the tone will be closer to the original film than the sequels. So, fans can expect a lot of big action set pieces, some of the scariest dinosaurs in the franchise, and a story that focuses on human emotions. The movie will also unveil a fresh cast led by Scarlett Johansson, Bailey, and more. The Avengers star previously revealed about her character Zora:
“Zora has had a long career in the military and in private security. She is someone who has dedicated her life to service and to helping people. She has experienced a lot of loss, yet she maintains a lot of positivity and humor, even when things are hard. I wanted her to have a lot of sparkle.”
The film has an impeccable line-up of stars, including Johansson as Zora Bennett, Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid, Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, Rupert Friend as Martin Krebs, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Reuben Delgado. Further rounding out the cast are Luna Blaise as Teresa Delgado, David Iacono as Xavier Dobbs, Audrina Miranda as Isabella Delgado, with Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein – all as members of Zora’s team.
Jurassic World Rebirth will stomp into theaters on July 25. Check out the new popcorn bucket above and stay tuned to Collider for more such updates.
