Kuro Games has confirmed that the highly-anticipated Chisa will be a playable Resonator in Wuthering Waves 2.8, the upcoming version of the open-world RPG. She’s a 5-Star character and wields giant scissors in combat, which will probably translate into gameplay mechanics as a Broadblade. Her DMG Type has not yet been revealed.
“Chisa sees weaknesses in the form of threads. Upon analyzing the structure of an observed target, she identifies and then severs the enemy’s weak threads, unravelling their structural integrity in one sharp cut from the scissors in her hands,” her official description stated.
Another lore tidbit said: “Chisa is a conscientious, level-headed student from the Startorch Academy. To her, everything can be broken down, analyzed, and resolved, with the exception of human bonding. Bonds can be severed, but this fragility is what makes them precious.”

Fans have been looking forward to Chisa ever since she’s been teased ahead of the Septimont storyline. Following Galbrena and Qiuyuan, who are on the banners in the current update, Chisa is the final character from this teaser that has yet to be released, meaning that we’re due some new teasers soon. WuWa 2.8 is likely to be the final update ahead of Version 3.0, which will lead Rover into yet another brand-new region of the world.
