Android tablets are a dime-a-dozen these days, but only a select few truly manage to stand out. Take for example the fifth iteration of Lenovo’s gaming tablet series, simply dubbed the Legion Tab. Much like its predecessors, it packs impressive hardware in a compact slate form factor, and is focused on performance.
The fifth-gen Legion Tab comes with a relatively-small 8.8-inch display, although it features a sharp 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. This serves as your main window into Lenovo’s highly-customized version of Android, complete with dedicated optimization features and software. The tablet runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, along with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, and this entire setup is powered by a massive 9,000mAh battery.

As it is designed for gaming, Lenovo has included its Legion Coldfront Vapor cooling system, which according to the company can deliver up to 32% increase in heat dissipation, at least when compared to the previous Legion Tablet. Available in “Eclipse Black”, “Glacier White”, and “Surge”, the tablet also features dual USB-C ports for simultaneous charging and physical connectivity to accessories.
It’s more expensive than a PS5, however—Lenovo says that the tablet will come priced at $849, and will arrive in Markets in May 2026.
