March 2026 is bringing a variety of movies to theaters, such as a new take on a horror classic, Pixar’s latest project, a long-awaited Ryan Gosling movie, an exciting horror sequel, and more. 2026 had a slow start when it comes to theatrical releases, though it has already had some big hits, such as 28 Years Later: Bone Temple, Send Help, and Wuthering Heights.
February didn’t have many theatrical releases, but the movies released throughout the month offered a bit of everything. From classic horror with Dracula to horror sequels like The Strangers – Chapter 3 and Scream 7, and a bit of comedy with How To Make A Killing, February ended up being an interesting month for moviegoers.
March will be busier than the previous months, and it’s bringing Maggie Gyllenhaal’s take on a classic horror movie, Pixar’s latest movie, a new Colleen Hoover adaptation, the long-awaited sequel to Ready or Not, and more.
The Bride!
The Bride! Will Be Released On March 6, 2026
The Bride! is a Gothic romance movie written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. The Bride! is based on Mary Shelley’s classic novel Frankenstein and inspired by the 1935 movie Bride of Frankenstein, with some interesting changes. Set in Chicago in the 1930s, The Bride! sees Dr. Euphronius (Annette Bening) bringing a murdered woman to life as requested by Frankenstein’s monster (Christian Bale), as he desires a companion.
A romance develops between The Bride and Frank, but their existence and actions draw some unwanted attention. Also starring in The Bride! are Peter Sarsgaard, Jake Gyllenhaal, Penélope Cruz, Julianne Hough, and John Magaro.
Hoppers
Hoppers Will Be Released On March 6, 2026
Hoppers is a sci-fi adventure comedy movie by Pixar, directed by Daniel Chong. Hoppers follows a group of scientists who invent a way to “hop” human minds into realistic robotic animal bodies. Animal-lover teenager Mabel (voiced by Piper Curda) uses this to embody a robotic beaver, with the goal of stopping a construction company from destroying the local animal habitat.
However, Mabel ends up triggering an animal uprising against humans. Also part of Hoppers’ voice cast are Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Kathy Najimy, Dave Franco, and Meryl Streep.
Nuremberg
Nuremberg Will Be Released On March 7, 2026
Nuremberg is a psychological thriller historical drama movie directed by James Vanderbilt and based on Jack El-Hai’s 2013 book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist. Nuremberg is the story of Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek), a U.S. Army psychiatrist who wants to investigate and monitor the mental status of Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), Hitler’s second-in-command.
Also starring in Nuremberg are Leo Woodall, Colin Hanks, Micheal Shannon, Richard E. Grant, and John Slattery. At the time of writing, Nuremberg has received positive reviews from critics, with most praise going to Crowe’s performance.
Reminders of Him
Reminders of Him Will Be Released On March 13, 2026
Reminders of Him is a romantic drama movie directed by Vanessa Casill and based on Colleen Hoober’s 2022 novel of the same name. Reminders of Him is the story of Kenna (Maika Monroe), who returns to her hometown after spending five years in prison following a car accident where her boyfriend, Scotty, died.
Kenna wants to reconnect with her daughter, who has been raised by Scotty’s parents, who are still struggling with their grief. Kenna ends up bonding with local bar owner Ledger (Tyriq Withers), who turns out to be Scotty’s best friend. Also starring in Reminders of Him are Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, and Lainey Wilson.
Project Hail Mary
Project Hail Mary Will Be Released On March 20, 2026
Project Hail Mary is a sci-fi adventure movie directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and based on Andy Weir’s 2021 novel of the same name. Project Hail Mary follows astronaut Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling), who wakes up on a spacecraft with no memory of the mission or who he is. Grace eventually deduces he’s the only survivor of a team sent to the Tau Ceti system to save Earth.
Andy Weir is the author of The Martian.
Grace now has to rely on his scientific knowledge, ingenuity, and will to live to find a way back home, and, in the process, he meets an alien he names Rocky (voiced by James Ortiz).
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is the sequel to 2019’s Ready or Not, and it has its original directors – Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett – back. Ready or Not 2 picks up right after the ending of the first movie, where Grace (Samara Weaving) survived the brutal “game” she was subjected to by her new husband and in-laws.
However, that’s not the end of her problems, as she’s now the target of the wealthiest and most influential families in the world, who are ready to play a new deadly game. Grace is forced to participate when she learns that her younger sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton), has been dragged into it, too.
Also starring in Ready or Not 2 are Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Cronenberg, Shawn Hatosy, Elijah Wood, and Kevin Durand.

They Will Kill You is an action comedy horror movie directed by Kirill Sokolov. They Will Kill You follows Asia (Zazie Beetz), an ex-convict who gets a job as a housekeeper in a mysterious New York City high-rise. What Asia isn’t expecting is to enter a community that has been plagued by disappearances for years. Also starring in They Will Kill You are Tom Felton, Patricia Arquette, and Heather Graham.
Forbidden Fruits

Forbidden Fruits is a comedy horror movie directed by Meredith Alloway and based on Lily Houghton’s stage play Of the woman came the beginning of sin, and through her we all die. Forbidden Fruits is the story of Apple (Lili Reinhart), who secretly runs a witchy femme cult in the basement of the mall store she works at.
When a new hire named Pumpkin (Lola Tung) challenges Apple, Cherry (Victoria Pedretti), and Fig’s (Alexandra Shipp) performative sisterhood, they are forced to face their own demons and flaws or succumb to a tragic fate.

She Dances is a comedy-drama movie directed by Rick Gomez and written by him and Steve Zahn. She Dances follows Jason (Zahn), a struggling father doing his best to reconnect with his daughter, Claire (Audrey Zhan). Jason offers to be her chaperone at a dance competition, and though not everything goes as planned, it’s the chance they needed to finally get to know each other.
