While most know Martha Stewart as an icon of all things baking, homemaking, gardening and more, the avid beauty lover also knows Stewart to be a timeless beauty inspiration, too. At 83-years-old, Stewart is as radiant, lively and gorgeous as ever, and luckily for us she’s not one to shy away from sharing her unconventional beauty tips and tricks. In true Martha fashion, the DIY queen’s makeup artist is equally as open, as she revealed all of Stewart’s “high-low” makeup products to Page Six this week, and her routine staples might surprise you.

Every Product Inside Martha Stewart’s Makeup Routine

Makeup artist Daisy Toye’s journey with Stewart has been a serendipitous one, to say the least. “One day [Stewart’s editor-in-chief] called me and was like ‘Daisy, Martha’s makeup artist is not available, can you come and do this photo shoot?’” Now, Toye works with Stewart five days a week, and while she says her makeup routine is always changing and evolving, fans are consistently shocked by the variety of budget friendly and luxury products that make up Stewart’s daily beat.

As Toye told Page Six, Stewart “loves a bronzy glow,” which largely informs the products the duo reaches for on the day-to-day. Some of Stewart’s go-to base products for creating that sun-kissed glow include Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder ($42), Westman Atelier Sun Tone Bronzing Drops ($58), L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion ($17), Armani Beauty Eye Tint Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeshadow ($38) and Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Mascara ($10) which Toye loves for its “right to the root” formula.

Continuing on the golden goddess train, Toye told Page Six that Stewart “loves gold” and “even puts one of the gold eyeshadows on her lips, and it looks fabulous.” While Stewart is always open to trying something new, Toye assures she’s also been know to stick to products she can’t live without, like the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Grip Mechanical Gel Eyeliner Pencil ($11). ““This is not sponsored…I just love their products,” Toye said. “Sometimes we’ll use brown if we’re daring and we want a really smoky, dramatic look.”
