Firefox has offered AI features to its users. These features allow you disable all AI-powered features. They include an AI tool for tab grouping, AI-powered translation and even quick access to an AI chatbot. This development came after Google and Microsoft added AI-powered features to their Chrome and Edge browsers.

However, most users expressed their dissatisfaction with this development from Mozilla to disable another AI functionality. Though, Firefox is adding an AI kill switch with the upcoming February 24 update.
Enzor-DeMeo, Mozilla’s CEO, states that the AI features added to Firefox, as well as those that will come in the future, are all useful. He adds that users can trust Mozilla with all the collected data.
There are mixed reactions as some users find the AI tools useful, while many others don’t want to use them at all. Notwithstanding, it’s good that Mozilla is providing users with the freedom to opt out of AI. This isn’t usually the case with many other tech giants.
