Netflix’s follow-up show to The Tinder Swindler, Love Con Revenge, has been racing up the streaming charts. Love Con Revenge is a spinoff of Netflix’s 2022 documentary, The Tinder Swindler.
The docuseries follows Cecilie Fjellhøy, who was once a victim of the tinder swindler himself, Simon Leviev, who the 2022 documentary was about. Fjellhøy and private investigator Brianne Joseph find romance scams throughout the country and attempt to put an end to them.
Love Con Revenge was just released, and has quickly risen on Netflix’s streaming charts. The show came out on September 5, and on September 7, it has hit Netflix’s top 10 in numerous countries. This includes the third spot in the United States for both September 6 and 7, and the sixth spot globally.

Love Con Revenge has not yet been renewed for season 2, as it was just released. Because of the success of the show, Netflix may be looking at the show more seriously for a renewal in the near future. Netflix tends to renew similar shows to this one. This series was made because of the interest in the story of The Tinder Swindler, so there will always be an audience. With shows such as Love Con Revenge, there is also a never-ending story. Romance scams are always going to be happening, so there is no end to the material that can be brought to the show.

It is great that Love Con Revenge is seeing the success that it has been. To be able to see more of the romance scams in another season would be very thrilling.
