Wherever Nicole Kidman goes and whatever new venture she embarks on—be it an iconic AMC advert or a cult-classic (pun intended) Hulu series—a flock of loyal, fawning fans are destined to follow, and for good reason. Not only is Kidman, 58, one of the most renowned actresses of the past several years, she’s also a legend in timeless beauty, so it’s no surprise that her latest gig hones in on her signature look, as it was announced today that the Australian actress is the new Global Brand Ambassador for luxury Japanese skin-care and makeup brand, Clé de Peau Beauté.
Nicole Kidman Joins the Clé de Peau Beauté Family
While one look at Kidman’s ageless complexion would convince you of her beauty brand ambassador chops, Clé de Peau Beauté’s decision to tap the Nine Perfect Strangers actress was more than just skin deep. “Renowned for her commanding presence on and off the screen, as well as her passionate advocacy for women’s causes, Kidman perfectly embodies Clé de Peau Beautés vision of Radiance—where a blend of intelligence, artistry and purpose converge,” the brand said in a press release. “Her appointment marks a significant moment in the brand history.”
As for Kidman’s reason for joining the team, the star explained “I am inspired by the brand’s commitment to celebrate individual beauty across every aspect of a person’s life. I look forward to what we can create together.” This isn’t Kidman’s first ambassadorial rodeo, though. In 2017, she was named an ambassador for iconic drugstore brand, Neutrogena, and has also previously teamed up with Swiss-based multivitamin brand Swisse Wellness in addition to a long-standing partnership with Balenciaga. So far, Clé de Peau Beauté has released a press video starring Kidman to announce her new role, but we’ll have to stay tuned to find out what’s next for this iconic collab.
