Samsung announced its expansion of the One UI 8.5 beta program to more devices. This now includes the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy Z Fold5, the Galaxy Z Flip5, and the Galaxy A36.
The beta program for these phones will be available in select markets, including India, Korea, the UK, and the US. If you are eligible for the program, you should see a banner inside the Samsung Members app advertising the beta program. Since it is a phased rollout, it might not get to you immediately.
One of the features the One UI 8.5 beta brings is support for AirDrop via Quick Share. The Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S24 family, the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Galaxy Z Flip7, the Galaxy Z Fold6, and the Galaxy Z Flip6 are all eligible.
Samsung also says the One UI 8.5 beta program will expand further to more Galaxy devices later this month. So we expect to see more devices getting the beta update.
