Philips has announced the full details of its revived Moving Sound audio lineup, a product range that draws design inspiration from the company’s 1980s-era devices while incorporating current wireless and smart audio features. The lineup includes two portable Bluetooth speakers, a pair of on-ear headphones, and true wireless earbuds, all expected to launch in Q2 2026.

Philips The Tube (MS80)
The Tube (MS80)

The larger of the two speakers, The Tube (MS80), is positioned as a modern take on the classic boombox. It delivers 140W output through two 12.7cm woofers and two 19mm tweeters, along with dual passive radiators for low-frequency support. The device includes Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast sharing, and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. Battery life is rated at up to 24 hours. A built-in display shows an animated cassette graphic, referencing older cassette players. The unit measures 51 x 20 x 16.5cm, includes a carry handle and shoulder strap, and is priced at €350.

Philips The Roller
The Roller (MS60)

The Roller (MS60) is a smaller portable speaker with a 60W output system comprising a woofer, tweeter, and passive radiator. It uses what Philips calls a “true stereo acoustic architecture” and includes Moving Sound Bass+ processing. The speaker supports the same Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast, IP67 protection, and 24-hour battery life as the MS80. It measures 38 x 20 x 12cm and is priced at €180. Both speakers also support smartphone charging and can be controlled through the Philips Entertainment App.

Philips The Ringo Duo (MS1)

The Ringo Duo (MS1) headphones retain a lightweight on-ear design but add wireless Bluetooth connectivity alongside USB-C wired support. They use 40mm drivers and include an AI-assisted microphone intended to reduce background noise during calls. Battery life is rated at 26 hours. The headphones are priced at €35.

Philips The Buds (MS3)
The Buds (MS3)

The Buds (MS3) introduce true wireless functionality to the lineup. They support hybrid active noise cancellation, spatial audio, multipoint connectivity, and Auracast. The earbuds use six microphones for noise cancellation and three AI microphones for voice clarity. Total battery life reaches 42 hours with the charging case when ANC is disabled, while a 10-minute charge provides up to two hours of playback. The earbuds carry an IP54 rating and are priced at €80.
