Google recently announced that Google Workspace admins can now enable public link sharing for Gemini conversations. This update will allow users to generate a clickable URL for an entire Gemini dialogue, which will include both the original prompts and the AI’s responses.
Google says that this shift is designed to boost organizational efficiency by allowing team members to share their workflows, handle troubleshooting, or research results without the need for manual copying and pasting. Additionally, users who receive links can view the full conversation in their browser without needing to sign into a Google account.

For IT administrators, the rollout does include security controls. The public link sharing feature is turned off by default, and Admins can choose to toggle the feature on at the domain, organizational unit, or specific group level via the Admin console. Existing links created prior to the update will remain active and accessible unless manually deleted by the user within the Gemini app.
As for availability, the update is now rolling out to Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts who are signed into Gemini.
