Resident Evil Requiem Organ Transport Box Puzzle Solution
To open the Organ Transport Box in Resident Evil Requiem:
- Set the bottom dial to Auto → Hand
- Move the right slider to the halfway point
- Press down switches 2 and 5 only
- Leave switches 1, 3, and 4 up
- Turn the dial from Hand → Auto
This will open the box and reward you with Artificial Lungs, which are required to progress through the Care Center.
Where to Find the Organ Transport Box Solution
The instructions for solving the puzzle are found in the Leatherbound Journal inside a locked safe in the Lead Researcher’s Office.
However, getting to the journal requires solving another small puzzle first.
How to Unlock the Safe in the Lead Researcher’s Office
The safe in the Lead Researcher’s Office is blocked by both a metal lock and a combination puzzle.
Step 1: Find Corrosive
You’ll need corrosive to remove the metal lock.
This can be found in the nearby Conference Room, where a singing zombie and other undead enemies lie in wait. Be prepared with enough ammo, as the narrow space can quickly become dangerous.
The corrosive is located toward the back of the room, near where the singing zombie patrols.
Step 2: Remove the Lock
Use the corrosive on the metal lock to dissolve it and access the safe.
Step 3: Enter the Safe Combination
Two photos in the office reveal the correct combination.
The correct order is:
Star – Sun – Moon – Sun
Opening the safe rewards you with:
- Sun Quartz – required for unlocking the main Care Center door
- Leatherbound Journal – contains the Organ Transport Box instructions, as seen in the picture above of the instructions, for clarity
Organ Transport Box Puzzle Step-by-Step
Once you have the Leatherbound Journal, inspect the paper inside to view the puzzle instructions.
To solve it:
1: Switch the Dial
Turn the bottom dial from Auto to Hand.
2: Adjust the Slider
Move the right-hand slider halfway.
3: Set the Switches
Push down switches 2 and 5 only.
Leave switches 1, 3, and 4 up.
4: Activate the Machine
Turn the dial from Hand back to Auto.
The Organ Transport Box will open.
What Do You Get From the Organ Transport Box?
Inside the Organ Transport Box, you’ll find Artificial Lungs.
You must insert the lungs into the Organless Corpse in the West Wing, alongside the Artificial Heart found in Cold Storage in the East Wing.
Without this item, you cannot progress through the main story.
