RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th Apr, 2026) Police have arrested the ringleader of a gang involved in multiple robbery incidents, recovering Rs11,500 in cash along with other stolen items and weapons used in the crimes.
According to police spokesperson, Kallar Syedan Police conducted a successful operation and apprehended the gang leader, who, along with accomplices, carried out robberies at gunpoint after entering in to houses.
Raids are underway to arrest the other members of the gang.
SP Saddar Anam Sher stated that the suspect will be challaned in court with solid evidence, adding that those depriving citizens of their valuables will not escape the law.
Likewise, Rawalpindi Police paid tribute to Shaheed Constable Abdul Jabbar on his death anniversary.
A smartly turned-out police contingent presented a salute, while prayers were offered for the elevation of his rank.
The constable embraced martyrdom on April 12, 1988, during the Ojhri Camp incident while performing his duties with bravery despite grave danger.
