Rohini Mahotsavam 2026 – Ayarkadu Mahavishnu Temple
With the sacred chant “Om Namo Narayanaya,” the Ayarkadu Mahavishnu Temple, Karipra, Kuzhimathikkad P.O., under the administration of the Travancore Devaswom Board, reverently announces the Rohini Mahotsavam 2026. The auspicious celebrations on 21, 22, 24, and 25 February 2026 (Malayalam Era 1201, Kumbham 9, 10, 12 & 13).

Spiritual Significance
Temple festivals (Utsavam) are conducted to restore and enhance Deva Chaithanyam (divine spiritual energy). Over time, due to various factors, the sanctity and vibrational strength of a temple may diminish. Rituals such as Prasada Shuddhi Kriya and Bimba Shuddhi Kriya are prescribed in Tantric traditions to purify and rejuvenate the temple and the deity. During the Mahotsavam, daily worship procedures are expanded and intensified under the guidance of the temple Thantri.
This year’s ceremonies will be conducted under the chief karmikatvam of Thantri Brahmasree Madhavar Shambhu Potti of Vettikkavala Kokkallathu Madham, ensuring strict adherence to sacred temple traditions.
